Somewhere in the midst of the exhilaration, Will and Jill came to a place where the legal and other disengagement travails from their former lives came to rest. This by no means infers that the period up and 'til then was anything but astounding, but the settling in was when the two realized that the unthinkable was possible and the best part, they're living it. Oh, the candles and the long soaks during which flirtation and adoration just poured out still was the mainstay of their days but settling in was a high spiritual achievement. Zillions of couples survive the post-honeymoon landing but maybe it's just part of the extend and participate way of living that entices couples to look around and think about strange. Will and Jill sequester, they cocoon and they fulfill ALL needs between them and willingly and with appreciation. The bells are always ringing in their world but the fascination lingers on.
