Treating Jill & Will as if they are different from anyone else is misleading. The whole emphasis on their pairing is that they are two regular people and when they were presented with the opportunity to check each other out, they both knew simultaneously that the moment of realization, the snapshot in the universe was happening and they seized it. Carpe seize it. Not "hmmm-m-m, what if she's a _______ or what if he dawdles". The certainty is the message here - they both knew something changed in their world that day and they went with it. Knowing you're in the presence of a saint is not to focus on her pockets. Shit happens but when miracles do, race to the moon and don't keep asking why.
