The interview was supposed to be about their garden but Letitia picked up the Will/Jill vibe in the very beginning during the set-up. It is an attractive enough garden but watching the two of them blared out to Letitia to stick with relationship questions. The duration of the interview is much too long to be posted here, this being the place where the tidbits end up. What was most remarkable was the sense that Letitia saw herself in Jill, finding love after barely missing it time after time and the answer Will gave using attachment parenting as his example of contemporary methods to challenge latch key kid syndrome or preparing the love child for what's in store for him lifewise. Then, too, there's that possibility that like the heroine in "Lovebird with a Mirror", when the man of the moment disappears from the tryst, leaving her and her two alter egos crying out with passion for themselves that just maybe "the joy of sex is nothing but an exercise in solipsism in which the other person is merely a convenient vehicle. Maybe this is what's intended by the title". It isn't a garden if it doesn't have flowers.
